Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup orange juice freshly squeezed if possible
  • 1/3 cup pineapple juice 100% juice for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup silver tequila
  • grenadine for garnishing, about 4 1/2 teaspoons
  • lime slices for garnishing

Instructions

  • Combine the orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and silver tequila in a large pitcher. Blend until smooth.
  • Carefully pour the mixture into dixie cups, leaving about half an inch from the top. Notice the refreshing citrus scent.
  • Gently drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of grenadine into each cup, watching it sink to create a layered effect.
  • Freeze the cups for about an hour, just until they start to set.
  • Slice the limes thinly and make a small slit in each slice.
  • Remove the cups from the freezer. Insert a popsicle stick through each lime slice, placing it into the semi-frozen mixture.
  • Return the cups to the freezer for another 5 hours or overnight until completely frozen.
  • Once frozen, remove the popsicles by gently tearing away the cup or pulling up on the stick. Enjoy the cool, fruity delight!
