Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf day-old brioche bread cubed into 1-inch pieces
  • 5 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice

Instructions
 

  • Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Lay the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and allspice. Pour over the bread until all pieces soak the custard mixture.
  • Let it sit for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden and set. Your kitchen will fill with a delightful aroma.
  • Allow it to cool slightly before serving, perhaps with creamy ice cream.
